DAMN RIGHT YOUR DAD PLAYED IT
A little tribute I mocked up referencing those awesome Canadian Club ads. I was going to make a list of the Top 10 reasons yesterday’s Nerds were cooler than today’s nerds, but even though the internet loves its lists, this says it all for me. If you get it, you get it.

Just when I thought there was only 18 shades of awesome, you go and discover a 19th. Well played, sir.
I love looking at old covers for D&D modules … like, what the fuck is going on here?

Jesse, clearly that is a picture of Fu Manchu destroying a mushroom man
I still have some early edition AD&D books, both for the nostalgia factor and the hilarious drawings. It looks like they needed someone to sketch orcs and medusae and heard some guy’s landlord can kinda sorta draw.
Of course you do, Hodges. Of course you do.
Rolled a saving throw to see if your subtle jab would bother me, and got a 19. Yay!
This is awesome and hysterical!
Great job, Chris, best thing I have seen all week.
Holy … yeah, I’m going to go ahead a post this to some industry folks.
Thank you for the laughs, my good man!
Umm… wouldn’t Dad have been a 22nd level Arch Mage? As I remember (a little too well, it would seem), Necromancer was the level title for 10th level. It’s a bit like calling the president “Senator Obama”–no good can come of it. Especially a 22d6 fireball in the face (level caps on damage dice are for wusses).
